Mold Assessor / Remediation Contractor Combination Course – CLASSROOM – NYC

NEW OFFERING:  MOLD ASSESSOR / REMEDIATION CONTRACTOR COMBINATION COURSE !!

GET CERTIFIED IN BOTH DESIGNATIONS WITH ONE COMBO COURSE (5 DAYS).  TAKEN SEPARATELY BOTH COURSES WOULD BE 7 DAYS.  Mold Assessor 4 days.  Mold Remediation Contractor 3 days.

New York State now requires all Mold Assessors and Mold Remediation Contractors to be licensed.  

The 5 day Combo course is for individuals that will perform Mold inspection and Remediation. Course topics will cover hazard assessment and mold remediation plans. This course will lead to a certification in Mold Assessor and Mold Remediation Contractor (two separate certifications). New York State regulations require any individual performing mold assessment and Remediation to attend an accredited mold assessor and Remediation training program.  Upon successful completion of the course, student will have to submit an application to New York State Department of Labor Licensing unit to obtain a license.  Students will take both Mold Remediation Contractor Exam and Mold Assessor exam and receive two separate certificates.

Visual inspections

Measurement equipment

Biological sampling strategies

Work practices, documention and forms

Clearance testing and procedures

Basics of HVAC systems

Interpreting sampling results / survey protocol

Writing mold remediation plans

Post remediation clearance testing
