JOB POSTING:

Database Administrator is needed to perform the following duties: 

·  Design, implement, and maintain databases to support various applications and services related to occupational safety training.

·   Ensure data integrity, security, and availability by implementing appropriate backup, recovery, and access control measures.

·   Continuously monitor and enhance database performance to guarantee smooth operation and responsiveness.

·   Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.

·   Work closely with developers and system administrators to seamlessly integrate database systems with other applications and infrastructure components.

·   Develop and maintain database documentation, including data dictionaries, schemas, and standard operating procedures.

·    Implement and enforce data management best practices and policies.

• Perform database capacity planning and scaling to accommodate future growth.

·     Manage and maintain server infrastructure to ensure availability and performance.

·     Install, configure, and maintain server operating systems and software.

·    Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring optimal performance.

·    Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, access controls, and intrusion detection systems.

·    Plan and execute system upgrades and migrations, minimizing downtime and disruption.

·   Provide technical support and assistance to end-users.

·  Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration guides and standard operating procedures.

Bachelor’s Degree is required in  Computer Science or Information Technology or Computer Engineering or Computer Information Systems .
